Statewide Swimsuit and Towel Drive

Each Spring BigHouse receives hundreds of requests for new swimsuits and new towels from social workers all across the state for the children in foster care on their case load. Through the generosity of our community, we will fill over 1000 requests 2021. Each towel is embroidered with the child's name to make it extra special and uniquely theirs. For many of our kids, this may be the first or only thing they have had that was personalized with their name.

What to donate

We welcome any and all donations of new children's swimsuits and new beach or bath towels for this drive. Our official collection drives ends April 30th but we accept donations year-round for this event. A list of drop off sites for 2021 will be listed below. We appreciate these businesses and organizations who partner with us for this drive.

If you would like to make a monetary donation to this drive, we estimate $35 will cover the cost for one child's swimsuit and embroidered towel. You can donate online through MightyCause or Facebook.
