Our BigHouse Family Beach Retreat is our favorite weekend of the year and this week we’re hosting TWO weekends!

We’re taking 60 families to the beach in October to take part in this awesome event. We’ll also take volunteers to assist us in entertaining kids, assisting parents and sharing the love of Jesus with the whole family!

Want to volunteer?

BigHouse is now recruiting college volunteers to attend our BigHouse Family Beach Retreat for foster and adoptive families. Beach Retreat is at the Cottages Christian Retreat Center in Panama City Beach, Fl. Students will work with kids, families and BigHouse staff to provide a fun weekend for our families. 

There are two weekends available this year, Friday October. 4th to Monday, Oct. 7th, and Friday, Oct. 11th to Monday, Oct. 14th. All meals and lodging are included. Transportation is the responsibility of the volunteer but carpooling will be available. Students are dismissed Sunday evening if the need to return to campus for Monday classes.
Cost of the trip for volunteers is $35.00 which includes meals, lodging and trip t-shirt. Payments can be made through Venmo (@bighouse-foundation) or by cash/check.

Background checks are required for all volunteers.
