Santa’s Workshop
Each December BigHouse hosts a FREE shopping event for foster and adoptive families in our area. This event provides Christmas presents for kids in care, kids adopted out of care and biological children of foster and adoptive parents. We anticipate serving 250 families and over 600 children in 2025.
BigHouse collects new toys and gift items specifically for this event each year. Donations can be made directly to BigHouse or to collection sites around town. If you are interested in hosting a collection, email bighouse@ourbighouse.org for more info.

Gift Ideas & Drop Off Info
All gifts can be dropped off to one of the listed collection sites or at BigHouse (1400 Grand National Parkway in Opelika) directly. Gifts need to be returned by Saturday, December 6th.

BigHouse works with donation partners throughout the year to prepare for this event, however, most donations are collected during November and early December. If you or your business, organization or church would like to partner as a collection site or donation partner, please let us know!
