BighOUSE FAMILY BEACH RETREAT

Our annual BigHouse Beach Retreat will be held Friday, October 4th- Monday, October 7th OR Friday, October 11th- Monday, October 14th. This trip is for foster and adoptive families that are involved in our BigHouse Foundation ministry. Families are welcome to choose one weekend and attend any and all days that work for their schedule. Once again, we will be staying at the cottages at Christian Cottages Retreat in Panama City Beach.

Each family will have a private cottage with a full kitchen for their convenience.

We encourage families to sign up quickly, space is limited, and deposit must be paid to hold your spot.

Registration Details:

  • Families can register online OR in person beginning Monday, June 10th. Online registration will require a credit card or paypal deposit, in person registration will accept cash or check. Online and in person registration will open at 9AM CST. 

Please note- we anticipate a lot of interest in this trip- we will maintain a waitlist if spots fill up. We will NOT be able to accept special requests for specific cottages, to be near specific families or asking for specific volunteers. Thanks for understanding!

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Cost of the trip: $100 per person over the age of 2, regardless of how long you stay! So take advantage of this opportunity to have 3 nights at the beach for the GREAT rate! 

  • Children currently in foster care will be sponsored 100% for this trip. 

  • Guest rate is $200 and can’t exceed 2 people (2 guests per family period). For example, Grandma and Grandpa are welcome to come to help, but they will be $200 each and that would be the maximum number of guests allowed. This is also subject to cottage size and availability. Guests must be submitted and approved by BigHouse to attend- depending on cottage space availability.

  • We are capping our registration at $700.00 per family, not including guests.

  • A $100 deposit is due with registration. Balance is due September 26th. Deposit is applied toward trip balance. 

  • Families are responsible for their transportation to and from Panama City Beach.

  • We plan to have volunteers for both weekends! This means lots of fun and entertainment for the whole family!

MEAL DETAILS, PLEASE READ BELOW:

  • BigHouse will provide dinner Saturday and Sunday night. This is included in the cost of the trip.

  • Breakfast will be available from BigHouse as a grab and go continental style breakfast each day, including coffee.

  • Lunches will be boxed from local restaurants. The costs will be subsidized by BigHouse, and families can place their orders for lunch during weeks prior to the trip. 

    A detailed itinerary with info about ordering lunch, volunteers, trip schedule and more will be provided in September. 

    Trip must be paid in full by September 26th!
