caitlin steiner

Hey BigHouse family! My name is Caitlin Steiner and I am a senior at Auburn University majoring in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Middle Childhood and Adolescence. I am originally from Orlando, Florida. I love coffee, crafting, music, and spending time with my puppy.

I first heard about BigHouse my sophomore year when I needed to volunteer for one of my classes. My teacher recommended BigHouse and I have been volunteering ever since! I feel so blessed to be completing my internship at a place where everybody is passionate about helping and serving others.

After graduating I hope to work for a non-profit that serves children who are ill and their families. I believe my time at BigHouse will allow me the opportunity to understand how a non-profit operates on both a day-to-day and large scale. I am eager to learn more about non-profits and get to know the local foster families.

Hanna Baughn

Hanna Baughn currently studies at Auburn University and is a Nashville native. She first learned about BigHouse through a dear friend and has loved it ever since. She has a passion for making people feel known and cared for, especially people who are from different parts of the world. Hanna also enjoys a good cup of coffee, painting, and the outdoors.

After graduating in May 2018 with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies, Hanna plans to pursue a graduate degree in School Counseling. She is excited about her time at BigHouse, and is hopeful that this opportunity to serve will allow her to understand how to meet the needs of foster and adoptive families through the love of Christ.
